Here at Machine, we work with several Google products on a daily basis, and will often send invites and assets to clients who don’t yet have a Google account associated with their work email address.
Clients then try to view the assets (documents, spreadsheets), and are asked to sign in. They sign in with their personal Gmail account, but since the original asset wasn’t shared with that account, they need to request access. This causes a bit more back-and-forth, and requires anyone sharing documents with them to remember that they use their personal email address instead of work.
Luckily, Google allows you to sign up for an account and gain access to all of their amazing products using your work email address. To get your account, simply fill out the quick form here:
