A high-traffic, high-impact website
Based on a design by Excentric Creative Partners, Machine created a highly-customized WordPress website to house hundreds of time-sensitive events for several popular Ottawa venues.
The website is fully responsive, and allows visitors to perform advanced searches to find events of interest.
Website administration is quick and easy: Site administrators can schedule homepage features and upcoming events so they’ll display on a particular date, and be removed once their time has passed.
Administrators can also manage dozens of content-heavy pages using a flexible block-based structure that allows them to customize the layout of each page using drag-and-drop.
This popular website handles tens of thousands of users per day, and needs a scalable web hosting solution. We provisioned and configured a virtual private server, installed and tested WordPress server-side page caching, and enabled an enterprise-level content delivery network to handle the load.
Machine now performs regular WordPress updates, and continues to make ongoing improvements to the website.
