Swimming Canada’s website is a vital resource for athletes, coaches, and fans, providing everything they need to stay connected with the world of Canadian swimming. Our team was tasked with revitalizing the site, elevating its design, and improving its functionality. The focus was on modernizing the website’s look and feel while rebuilding the technical infrastructure to pull in real-time data from Swimrankings and the Canada-wide swimmer registration system, which track athlete rankings and race results. This integration was essential to ensuring that users could easily access the most up-to-date information.
The project had both aesthetic and technical goals. From a design perspective, we wanted to create a visually engaging and modern platform that captured the energy and professionalism of the swimming community. On the technical side, we focused on rebuilding the database connections to ensure we could retrieve and display it efficiently.
