Machine Donates on Behalf of Clients

This year, instead of buying holiday gifts for our clients, we decided to give to those in need.

We created a game-like “donation picker” web application that let our clients decide what we would donate. Clients used drag-and-drop, and placed their selected items into gift boxes under a Christmas tree. Once they were ready, they filled in a bit of information, and submitted their choices.

Thanks to our clients, we donated $5,000 in toys, baby items, winter clothing and food to the Barrhaven Food Cupboard, Toy Mountain, The Salvation Army, and Nelson House!

We look forward to doing something like this again next year, and might even step it up a notch.
