Ottawa’s Canadian Museum of Nature contracted Machine to perform exhibit design and development for over a dozen highly engaging interactives for the 2012 re-launch of the Vale Earth Gallery.
In only a few short months, we worked closely with museum staff to help make their vision a reality. We researched and employed cutting-edge technologies to achieve their goal of providing visitors with an immersive experience, without restricting the ability to update hardware and software in the future.
Using HTML5 and modern web browsers on virtually all exhibit applications, we created products that offer high stability over long-term use, with unsurpassed manageability. Highly customized installations of WordPress allow museum staff to manage content on data-heavy exhibits, while other exhibits can be updated by simply manipulating HTML.
